The newly built Qingzang railway to Tibet increases the number of tourists visiting the region by 3,000 to 4,000 people per day. Jia Jing, an 18 year-old Chinese foot masseuse, is one of many ethnic Chinese drawn to the region. She longs for a Tibetan boyfriend to satisfy her curiosity about the mysterious way of life in Lhasa.

The intermingling of two very different cultures within China and the triumphs and heartaches that accompany this merging of worlds may prove to be more painful than it is worth.
